The twenty-third General Assembly of the Saudi Geographical Society agreed on 2/3/1428 AH to establish the “Al-Idrisi Award for Geographical Excellence” to encourage geographers to innovate and carry out research that contributes to showing the creativity of fundamentalist and applied geographers.
